DEFINITION
WHAT IS A MAKERSPACE?
Makerspaces (a.k.a. Hackerspace, Tinkerspace, etc) are physical locations where locals can go to use expensive or large tools to work on their ideas and projects.
Makerspaces are all different, but can include 3D printers, woodshops, metal shops, auto shops, paint studios, sewing studios, and much more.

THE PROBLEM
No single location for makers to talk/collaborate
Most social sites are not conducive to creativity and are full of politics and other heavy topics
The Maker community is highly collaborative, but not well connected
Makerspaces are challenged with having the right tools to properly manage their location
THE SOLUTION: MAKER 2 MAKER
Provides a platform to discuss creative projects and ideas, search for people with skills to collaborate with, and share progress
Enhances makerspaces with
the tools necessary to properly manage their members and space
Encourages content with regular contests
Engages schools and educators to empower them in teaching creative skills to students
